• App data: watchlist tickers, notification preferences, alert rules, and generated briefings.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and basic device/browser metadata to keep the service reliable and secure.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Operate the service: monitor your watchlist, generate AI summaries, send notifications.
• Improve the product: aggregate, de-identified analytics on feature use.
• Security and abuse prevention.
• Communicate with you (transactional emails like password resets and important alerts).

3. AI Processing

Your watchlist tickers and the public news articles related to them are sent to our AI provider to produce summaries, sentiment, and importance scores. We never share your account email or personally identifying account data with AI providers as part of analysis prompts.

4. Third Parties We Use

• Authentication and database hosting (handled by our backend infrastructure provider).
• Market data and news (financial data providers).
• AI inference (our model gateway).
• Optional Google sign-in (Google OAuth).

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Briefings and notifications older than 90 days may be pruned automatically. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Account page.

6. Your Rights

• Access and download your data.
• Correct or update your information.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential emails.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices: encrypted transport (HTTPS), row-level access controls on every user-scoped table, secret management for credentials, and least-privilege server functions.

8. Children

Vero is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International Users

Data may be processed in the country where our infrastructure is located. By using Vero, you consent to this processing.
