About Vero
Understand what you already own.
Vero reads the day’s news and filings on your holdings. It scores what should matter, and links the source behind every sentence.
Thousands of headlines a day. Almost none of them matter to you.
The few that do are buried under recycled takes, clickbait, and jargon — and the tools that surface them were built for people who trade for a living.
Models are finally good enough — as long as they show their work.
Understanding your own investments shouldn’t require a Bloomberg terminal or a finance degree. A model can now read the day’s filings and reporting, weigh what matters, and put it in plain English. Showing its work isn’t optional. It’s the product.
One person. No growth team.
“Vero is an independent product. Right now it is one person. No growth team, no invented user counts on this site, no pretending to be bigger than it is. What is here instead is the tool I wanted for my own holdings: every event scored, every read in plain English, every claim traceable back to a source. If Vero earns a place in your morning, that’s the whole business model.”
Principles
Four rules the product keeps.
Scored, not streamed
Most finance apps forward everything and call it information. Vero scores each event 1 to 10 for how much it should matter to you, and you set the score that is allowed to interrupt. A routine analyst note lands around 2. A guidance cut lands around 9.
Explained, not abbreviated
A headline tells you what happened. Vero tells you what it means for the companies you own — and, once you have written down why you own them, which part of that reasoning it touches. Plain English, no assumed vocabulary.
Cited, not asserted
Every summary links the reporting it was built from, so any claim is one click from its source. Where Vero cannot prove who published something, it names no publisher; where it cannot compute a figure from real data, it shows nothing rather than a guess.
Never advice, never trades
Vero explains what happened and scores how much it should matter to you. It never tells you to buy or sell, never connects to a broker, and never places a trade. A product about your money has no business being a black box.
